An aspiring hermit cannot suffer from loneliness

What drives you to create?

The creative act is a way of exploring myself, a bridge between what my senses perceive and the way I transform those perceptions into something new.

What inspires you?

Anything can spark a flame. A scene from everyday life, like two people talking at the bar, or something as momentous as a storm raging through empty streets in the middle of winter.

How do you bring your works to life?

I don’t have a single process; it always depends on the situation. Sometimes I need the piano and sheet music, other times just something to write down what’s in my head, and other times the phone’s recorder is enough to capture an idea that I later turn into something concrete.

I write best between autumn and winter
