What drives you to create?
The unpredictability of the system constantly draws me in. I find myself exploring the elements around me more and more — playing with light and transparency, capturing fleeting impressions on printed paper.
What inspires you?
My inspiration definitely comes from the places where I grew up: the family workshop with its darkroom, and the photography studio where I’d visit my father and his brother.
How do you bring your works to life?
The first step is spotting an element that piques my curiosity. Then comes the journey to the set — the “theatre” — where I try to interfere with the subject as little as possible. From there, once the shot is taken, the process moves to the screen — where anything becomes possible.
