“Material as a voice for the invisible.”

What drives you to create?

What compels me to create is the need to truly listen to myself. Each piece is a silent conversation between my inner world and the outside — an intimate way to express, reveal, and turn the invisible into something tangible.

What inspires you?

I draw inspiration from nature—its quiet rhythms and constant transformations. Music also plays a vital role in my creative process, opening up inner spaces where ideas can begin to take shape. Often, it’s during the night that thoughts and intuitions emerge: when the mind quietens, images begin to form.

How do you bring your works to life?

CI bring my work to life through an ongoing dialogue with the materials I use. I experiment with techniques, textures, and forms—each gesture an exploration, each material is a voice that leads the creative process forward.

A little curiosity about me? I love mentally furnishing other people’s homes. It’s a kind of game in my head, where every piece of furniture and every space finds its perfect place with logic and harmony.
A hidden gem in Lucca, for me, is the city’s ancient walls. Walking along the tree-lined path, I can relax and enjoy a view of the city from above, with colours that shift beautifully with the seasons.
