Vittoria Rossini

A soul that dances between light and shadow.

What drives you to create?

I create because I feel the need to give shape to what lives inside me: emotions, memories, dreams. My art is born from silence and mystery, from the meeting of light and shadow, delicacy and melancholy. Every drawing is an untold story, a small world suspended between reality and imagination. I can’t stop creating because I can’t stop feeling, experiencing, and telling my own story.

What inspires you?

My main inspiration comes from memory and recollection: the desire to keep alive the little girl inside me, to give her a voice and allow her to tell her story. Artistically, I’m inspired by the storybooks of my childhood, the narratives that filled my dreams. In truth, anything can spark inspiration—a place, a memory, a sound, an emotion… Every fragment of the world feeds my imagination and shapes my small creative universe.

How do you bring your works to life?

I bring my works to life digitally, mainly using Procreate. Even though my tool is a screen, every stroke is made with my hands, carefully and precisely, like fine threads weaving worlds suspended between dream and reality.

One little quirk of my creative process is having my dog Max by my side while I draw. His presence helps me relax and feel at home in my world of colours and lines.
My favorite place in Lucca is definitely the Botanical Garden. It’s a peaceful corner that inspires me deeply and holds many beautiful memories.
